Yes...we went to Bakersfield on purpose! There was a national BMX race there and we got to stay with some old friends of mine too.
I use to babysit this girl when I was like 12 or something! I'm feeling old(er).

Ryan spotted a Thrifty's after the race and we had to stop and get ice cream. Seriously, who doesn't like Thrifty's ice cream?!

Both boys did pretty well and had fun. Carson got a trophy but was mad that it wasn't in the top 3 so we don't have a picture of that. He crashed in the main and was bitter for a while.

I love Thrifty's. They sell it at Water and Ice stores. There's a new one off San Tan Blvd, East of Power. We should go!! I'll even buy...I owe you big time for that dance!
