Christmas Eve

I made a Christmas Eve dinner, we took the kids to see Christmas lights, and of course we left cookies and milk out for Santa.

December 25th

We were up at 6am to see if Santa left any presents, and...

the kids loved everything they got!

Thanks for the Leap Frog table Grandma and Grandpa Howard

Jace was more interested in how excited Carson and Chas were acting. It was really nice to have a baby around this Christmas.

Thanks for the cute plates Grandma Pam!!!

I know, I know, it's been way too long since our last post. It's December, give me a break!
Earlier this month we went to California to visit with my mom and go to Ryan's work party. One night we went to see one of the best light displays I have ever seen, we all had a lot of fun. People we selling hot chocolate, treats, and my favorite, cotton candy!!! We also got to have a pre-Christmas with my mom and dad, what a great weekend!
My mom, Chas, Carson, Jace, and I.

My dad, Jace, and Chas.

Chas, showing a little "crack".

To top off the whole weekend Ryan, Carson, and Chas raced and they ALL placed! Ryan 1st, Carson 1st, and Chas 3rd.

This was Chas' first BMX trophy and the "cheese" on his face was priceless. (we won't tell him there were only 3 racers in his race)

We Finished!!!

So Kelli and I decided several months ago that we were going to run in the Gilbert Days 5K, and we did it. And yes, I made us matching shirts. The boys wanted to know why I didn't come in first, so I had to explain to them that mommy was just happy she crossed the finish line.

I think I'm going to stick to walking from now on. :)

Busy, Busy, Busy

There is NEVER a dull moment at our house, so this is what's been going on for the last few weeks...

Chas gets a HUGE knot on his head at the BMX track, he still wanted to race but we said "NO". He is such a little Ryan, I think I should take a first aid class!

I started and finished a project that I've been wanting to do for a while now.

Before...

After...

Chas got his first trophy!

Carson earned another BMX trophy! 3rd Place Good Job Carson! And tonight I'm running in a 5K with a friend. More pics later!

GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER!!!

So my neighbor called me today and said I needed to come over and see what Carson drew with chalk on her driveway. She suggested that I bring my camera! This is what I saw...

Drawing #1
Drawing #2
He noticed that we were "admiring" his first drawing so he drew another one.

Now before anyone gets offended when we asked Carson about his drawing he said, "it's a BOTTLE"!
It's all about perception people, get your minds out of the gutter!!! This is going to be great black mail when he's a teenager.

Planes, Planes, and More Planes

After the boys' games on Saturday we went to an airport open house near our house. They had tons of planes and helicopters for the kids to look at and sit in. The boys and I rode in an old fire truck and they got to go down a huge blow up slide. After two football games and going to this event the boys were VERY tired, which means two napping boys! Hip Hip Hooray!!

The Happy Couple

TRICK OR TREAT!!!

Tonight was very fun for the boys, especially Ryan, and fun for us to have Jace experience his first Halloween! Ryan and the neighbors spent at least 2 hours making the clown, that was on our porch, fly down from the roof to scare the crap out of anyone they could. In addition to that, Ryan was in the garage with fog machines and would run out and surprise trick or treaters. Yes, tears were shed by people of all ages.

This is our neighbor, yes it's a costume. (I'm pretty sure he didn't have to look far for this outfit.)
I was so glad that Carson wanted to be a spider this year because I love to make their costumes. Chas was a BMX rider (I wonder where he got that idea from?)

My mom sent me this cool witch hat and the lovely black lipstick. I might just keep this look going for a while! Jace was my little spider...SO CUTE!!!

I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween. Now it's time to gear up for the rest of the Holidays.

Halloween Day!

Today in Carson's class they had a Halloween party and I got to come in and help with some of the games. It was cute meeting all his little friends.

Our cute boys in their Halloween shirts. About 30 minutes after this picture Jace did poop on his shirt, thank goodness I took the picture when I did!
