About a month ago Elizabeth started to suck her thumb. At first I freaked out. I have a niece who still sucks her thumb and she is 9 years old! I am not about to have my child do that (let's just say my sister is a little lazy in that department). Plus, I'm not really big on pacifiers. Justin never used one and I just figured its one more thing I have to train them to get rid of someday. I wasn't sure what to do. I mean, you can't really do anything when they are that little. I even hear her in the middle of the night sucking away. I just figured I would enjoy it right now (it is pretty cute at this age) and deal with it later (hopefully they will grow out of it on their own...at least before they are 9 years old)! Jace is a pretty cute chunky monkey!!! I just want to kiss him all over. Love the gut...Elizabeth has "thunder thighs" which are also only cute under 18 months. :)

We called Jaqai our little Buddha Baby, he had such a big round belly. They're so cute at that age.
"SURE FIRE CURE" You remember Paula use to suck her first finger? My mother-in-law, behind my back, put chile on her nail. Well...as you can imagin, she quit, say...2 seconds into it. Since I'm 57 now and have part-hymers, I can't remember if she continued, but she doesn't have buck-teeth. That might be an ole wives-tale. Still...it's cute. With his little "poncs" hanging out there and his thumb in proper postion, Jace can do and have anything he wants. I'm a sucker!

our little Jonah sucks his thumb. I don't know what your thinking but I love it, he doesn't like binki's, so whenever he finds his thumb it shuts him right up. ha ha
