Happy 6th Birthday Chas

My camera and computer haven't been getting along for the past few months so I haven't been able to upload pics to update our blog. BUT now it seems to be working!

I brought CHAS lunch on his birthday and he ALWAYS sits next to his friend Jack. These two are like BFF's it's so cute. On Chas' birthday he had a baseball game and he hit a home run. This was the cake I ordered from Costco. They probably thought I was so boring, but my intentions were to add to it. :)

Look Who's 1

Another late post, but Jersey is so cute I think she's worth the wait. Jersey is now 1 and keeps getting cuter. We had family come over and help us celebrate! A few facts about Miss Jersey...

She smiles ALL the time.

We get stopped EVERYWHERE we go because people want to talk to this

gorgeous

happy little girl.

She likes to play with Monster Trucks

She likes to feed herself

She will get mad at you if you walk pass her and not say hello.

She likes to crawl all over the house by herself.

She tries to sing the chorus from a song by Neon Trees. (all we can make out is "uh oh blah blah blah) And she does it on rhythm.

ANY music can come on and she will dance.

She can kick her legs fast and hard and loves doing that in the bath tub.

She loves her brothers and her daddy

She loves mommy to hold her.

She will eat just about anything.

And I am very thankful to be her mom! She makes me want to be a better person.

Jersey Girl!

~I still can't believe we had a girl!

Happy Halloween!

The boys wanted to be Star Wars' characters this year, and it worked out for all four of them. I made Jersey's dress from a pillowcase, her buns from fake hair, Jace's ears from felt and borrowed Carson and Jace's costumes. The only one we bought was Chas'! I hope every Halloween is that cheap. (I'm not holding my breath)

Ryan got to live his dream for a few hours!

Fall Break

We went to Disneyland! This is a big deal for our family because we don't get to go very often,

we had a lot of fun!

We took Jace for a few hours and them came back with just Carson and Chas. (That's when the real fun started. Sorry Jace but your 2, I don't think I need to say anymore)

Jersey is 9 months old

The saying "time flies when your having fun" is SO true. We have had so much fun with Miss Jersey and I can't believe she is already 9 mos. old!

Weight: 15.1lbs

Length 27"

Head 16 1/2"

The doctors said she does need to gain more weight ( I wish a doctor would say that to me) so Jersey gets butter on things, brownies, full fat yogurt, avocado and of course she loves it all.

Jersey loves to feed herself, there was even a time when she wouldn't even her mouth for me! Then I'd give her spoon and she would be just fine. So eatting time does get messy, but that's what happens with an independent baby.

I wonder where she gets that from? :)

Jersey still loves to suck on her two fingers.

I LOVE dressing her for church, it's like I have my own little doll!

EVERYWHERE I go Jersey is the center of attention. Her brothers love her so much and love making her laugh. Jersey is such a blessing to our family.

Our Visit to Urgent Care

So, it's Monday night around 5:15pm. Carson and Chas have football practice and Ryan has to go to the BMX track and is about to leave. Jace is running around the house (which is normal) and then crashes into a table (which is normal for him too). So I go check to see if this time is any different from the other 100 times he has crashed into things in the house, and it was!!! Blood was falling onto the floor! (Thank goodness it was only tile) So Ryan grabbed Jace and cleaned him up and I threw the kids in the car. I called a friend to see if she could take Carson to practice and thankfully she said yes and so we dropped him off at her house. Then I just showed up at another friend's house and asked her to take Chas to his practice! Great friends, thank you ladies! After all of that we pulled up to urgent care. No stitches, just dermabond. :)

He looks sad in this picture, but he was actually RUNNING around the urgent care office. Seriously, he can't be stopped.

The next day he was finishing a bag of shredded cheese.

Thank goodness he's cute!

I am so glad Ryan was there to help. I can't imagine what it would of been like with me and 4 kids!

Carson Turns 7

Carson Turned 7 this month and we had a little pool party for him, complete with ice cream cake, cannon ball contest, and the popscicles you get from the ice cream truck. I still can't believe he's 7!
