BMX Party for Chas!

Chas had a BMX party at the track! I actually rode the track too! I have a new respect for those that ride BMX bikes. I was screaming like a girl and I was out of breath after just one SLOW lap. My mom flew in just for Chas' party and she rode the track too.

Don't laugh!

We're Still Here...

I know it's been a while since our last post. I'm almost 10 weeks pregnant and so TIRED that I can barley get anything done. We went to Bakersfield a few weeks ago for a BMX race and stayed with some old friends. We had so much fun with them. The boys did pretty well in the races and the last day another kid crashed right into Carson, yes I was bitter. So besides a baby due Dec. 14 BMX is the only other thing that really happens around here.

Jace makes the strangest faces. This was when he was eating chocolate.

Chas was afraid of our friends dogs, so he'd hop on a pillar when they'd come in. Ridiculous.

A New Princess!!!!!!!

You can't even imagine the excitement that I'm feeling about the movie "Princess and the Frog". As a little girl there were few if any characters that represented the black community. When you don't see people on tv and movies that look like you, you start to wonder if you're important. How great this is going to make MILLIONS of little girls (and big girls) feel. I've already asked Ryan if we can get a Princess Tiana bedspread!

The best Sunday ever!

This past Sunday was just a great day!

1) We watched General Conference and the kids didn't do half bad. I set up church stuff infront of the TV that represented what the kids needed to listen for and when one of the speakers said one of the words the kids got a piece of candy. They loved it!

He was asleep 1 second before I took this picture!

2) We went to the cemetary. We ordered the headstones for Drake and Dax and this was our first time seeing them. They looked GREAT! Thanks to all that donated so that we could get those for our boys. We couldn't of done it without you!
Thank you thank you thank you!

3) Watched the second part of conference

4) We took a family walk

5) And to top it off we had HOMEMADE ice-cream. It was my first time making it and it tasted pretty good!!! Thanks to my mother-in-law for the recipe.

It really was a great day!

The Grand Opening of.......Goodwill?

YES!!!! Some friends and I went to the Grand Opening of a Goodwill that opened up near us. I get excited for the the littlest things!

They even had valet parking! Are you kidding me? I'll park my own car at Goodwill, thanks!

"Happy" Birthday Chas?

Did I fail to mention that although Chas is very athletic he also loves to NOT watch were he's going!

So...we were just about to start Chas' party and Chas crashes into a wall at the park! I didn't actually see it, but a lady said "someones little boy just fell", so I look over and there's Chas on the floor all bloody! He had a nice size gash on his head and it was bleeding A LOT. Thankfully I had some great friends that were there to help me take care of Chas. I couldn't find my keys(I'm sure my brain wasn't working right), so my friend Marin drove Chas and I to the urgent care. The other ladies cleaned up ALL the party decor. One took Carson and Marin came back and took Jace home with her. Ryan met us at the urgent care. Chas was crying and kept saying "I don't want stitches". I don't really think he knows what stitches are, but he does now. He was a trooper and ended up getting 5 stitches. (Is that 4 for his birthday and 1 to grow on?) Poor Chas

I'll post the REDO party after we have it!

Happy 4th Birthday Chas!

I know everyone is so shocked about how fast kids seem to grow up, but it really is true. Our little Chas is 4 years old today! Chas' personallity is hilarious, and he knows he's funny too.(which may get us in trouble some day). His size fools A Lot of people. So many people underestimate him, until they get to know him and see him in action! He is one of the most naturally athletic kids I have ever seen and he does not back down from a challenge. Chas gives us a run for our money DAILY,but we wouldn't change him for the world.

Happy Birthday Chas!

And this picture was taken yesterday, when he was 3. He got stuck trying to take his shirt off and was yelling for help. (I thought it was pretty funny) Maybe now that he's 4 this won't happen anymore. (I won't hold my breath)When he woke up this morning he had balloons all over his room!
